UK company delivers innovative heat solution to Middle East

Global Insulation Logistics attends The Big 5 in Dubai and secures new data centre clients in the region

Monmouthshire, 24 November 2009 - Global Insulation Logistics Ltd., the insulated structures specialist is attending The Big 5 Construction Exhibition taking place in Dubai World Trade Centre from 23 - 26 November. The company has identified a huge interest in the region for its Box-in-Box Data Hall Solution.

With growing amounts of storage being generated and computing capacity increasing, the heat generated by servers, coupled with the local climate, creates a particular data centre cooling problem in the region. In an announcement made today, analyst firm Gartner also warned that critical issues facing data centre managers, such as power management, are set to worsen in 2010.

Global Insulation will be following up on data centre projects starting in 2010 and contacts and sales enquiries generated in June, following the success of the June Data Centre Strategies Middle East conference and exhibition in Abu Dhabi.

Co-founder of Global Insulation Logistics Ltd., Greg Hodge, said: "The insulated qualities of the factory pre-finished, non-maintenance fire rated composite wall and ceiling panel system can offer significant cost saving advantages over the traditional methods of construction currently used. The insulated panels prevent external ambient heat gain which is extremely high in the region."

He concluded: "The immediate benefits are reduced cooling capacity or duty, resulting in lower plant costs and reduced carbon footprint due to gained energy savings."

The Big 5 is the business focus for the construction industry throughout the Gulf Region. The Show features National Pavilions from around the world alongside important local developers, contractors, importers, manufacturers and distributors.
